looking at about 4 sites in Blackpool, wondering what you folks would like . 1 is a large holiday camp with all the trimmings, IE swimming pool/clubhouse/shops/etc. other 3 are standard sites with hookup and basic toilets/showers. ---------------------- |

Need some idea of who is coming to this meet so I can book site. Other wise it will be wild camping in Ansdell where 4 members of the club got approached by a guy thinking they where the traveling couple. ---------------------- |

I might actually be well up for this one, as I'm planning on starting my way back to the UK tomorrow! If Beddie is still in one piece by then and MOT passed, I'll be there! Both site options as well as wild-camping are fine with me, I'm not picky. Hope to see you all there! |

Can't deny it Gethin, to travel the length of the seafront, taking in the lights and the atmosphere, is truly memorable. Would recommend it to anyone that can make it. Hope all who attend have a good time. Rae & Ann ---------------------- |

Count us in Gethin, the van's made it to silverstone and back last week, so Blackpool shouldn't be a problem, or so I hope, I might even take some twinkly lights to put on the van. Do you know where you're booking yet, I know of a quiet camp, called Stanah house, in Thornton, just 4 or 5 miles up from North Blackpool, in the countryside, its cheap, the facilities are a toilet/shower block, electric hookup, gas bottle sales and a small shop, for tents, caravans and tourers. The downside is that there is no noise after 11pm. However the holiday camp with all the trimmings sounds good :) We can almost definitely come to this meet, and this will be our first one in CF-UK

Just looked on the internet, and subject to weather conditions, the world firework display is on the 23rd September, at around 7:30pm, I believe the display is provided by some Austrailians ---------------------- |
