Parts for larger Bedfords, ex-military & others. We've placed a thread in Parts Suppliers, which may be of use to anyone with the CF's bigger brothers, and we found the fellow there most helpful. The firm is Dittons of Maidstone, who used to be Vauxhall/Bedford dealers, no matter, because David has a huge list of contacts he uses. Parts suppliers Yes, yes, yes. Dave (and Pete) at Maidstone Kia are just BRILLIANT and very nice too. Unfortunately, I can't go there any more because I fell out with their boss but I cannot recommend them highly enough. |

It's a long and v boring story relating to me and Bessie but suffice to say I was tired after a long day at work, he was extremely rude to me and because I'm old I had to shout at him and then I cried a lot. I wont go back because it meant that I'd been involved in a "scene" and I find that embarrassing. I suppose in the past I'd have just let him be very rude to me. Anyway, I'll really miss Dave and Pete... |

Well, Bedfords are worth shouting about! Have had some real moments of tension with repairers and suppliers before today. We have just told the local garage they can take us to court for the money we 'owe' them. We are wondering if they will. They totally messed it up and we had to pay another garage £1900. We took it to the main dealer for the skip equipment years ago. It ended up off the road for months. They damaged the truck and the lifting gear too. It is not the truck at fault, its everybody else! ---------------------- |
