Ice Dreams! Hi all - am new to the site so thought I would introduce myself. My name is Lee and I have recently bought a bedford cf2 ice cream van in a brilliant bright yellow!. Shes a non runner at the moment so hoping to get her up and running asap - had a few mechanics on the job - one totally ripped me off with the starter and the other didnt have time to have a look at her! Hoping to do a bit myself and will post some questions if people dont mind helping me out! Cheers Lee ---------------------- | Mon 11 Jan 2010 @ 18:20 |

Hi there Lee and a big welcome to the club, undeniably one of the best there is and for CF's there's none better. I do have a friend who knows where several Bedford CF ice cream vans are, which are either being simply retired, or scrapped. I realise they will be a fairly long way from you, near Hastings, but sometimes, needs will, as needs must. If you contact him, mention it's by way of John with the Mk1 Astra, for which he knows me best, although we do have a CF camper. His name is Rob and you can contact him on 07780 730005. Cheers and the very best of luck with your project (our's are two 99's please) John and Sue.;D ---------------------- | Mon 11 Jan 2010 @ 18:47 |

Hi again Lee. I forgot to mention that the VBOA are holding their annual parts fair not too far from you at Ryton near Coventry on the 28th of next month. If you visit: http://www.vboa.org.uk then click on events, you'll find all the details plus more. Cheers, John and Sue. ---------------------- | Mon 11 Jan 2010 @ 19:36 |
