Embedding youtube

Just a thought. I many forums it is possible to embed a youtube video directly in the thread. Can we do this here?

We could if Colin had the coding installed.Unfortunately it's not there at the moment.
The one available in my forum uses the tags [video][/video],I have also seen .

How about



It's a temporary bodge to get it working before I go away on hols tomorrow. I'll try and do a proper job on it when I get more time.

To use

[ youtube]video_number[ /youtube]

(miss out the space between the [ and the youtube and the same with the [ /youtube)
The video_number is the bit that comes after the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= in the URL. In the case of the video above it was 2BI4tClZT0c

Are you all happy with the way that I've added the youtube feature? If you are I'll leave it as it is. If you would prefer having to put in the whole embed link featured on the youtube site then I'll see what I can do when I get back off my holiday.

Don't bother changing it. If for some reason someone wants to watch the video -> right click on the video and "watch on youtube". Cheers
