Christmas/New year 09/10

The meet will be at Loch Lomond from the 23/12/09 to 2/1/ 10. or any combination of these dates you can make. THIS IS A BOOK YOUR SELF MEET

To Book Go Direct To Forest Holidays On 0845 130 8224. DO NOT TRY TO BOOK ON LINE There computer booking cannot go into next year (lol)
full info on pricing is on there website. http://www.forestholidays.co.uk . Price will depend on your time of stay, do you want hook up, are you over 55 and/or a member of the C&CC A deposit of £30 is payable on booking the rest when you get there (deposit is non returnable)I spoke to warden at Cashel thy told us to book ASAP as this site gets quite full over the Christmas time so if you want hook up book ASAP.

Member of c&cc / over 55/ with hook up, from the 23/12/09 to 2/1/10 £125.26 any more info please contact Regards Pete & Jan

Christmas dinner is something we can discuss at the next meet ,nice if we can eat together .I'm of for the weekend , back Monday
PS mind they dont try and charge you for the 2/1/2010 thats the day you will be leaving so Dee its 10 nights you need to pay for not 11 like they tried to charge us

Its looking good ,its been suggested we take the marque with us so we can all have Xmas dinner together we can put a few heaters in it to warm the place up, we can all muck it to help with the cooking, if agreed we need to contact the site to OK it thy may charge a bit extra to put it up unless we can get away with telling them its a driveaway awning Any one else want to come dont leave it to long before you book if you want hook up

don't know anyone listed going to this, but decided to book anyway,
but only for the New Year, tues/sat, work calls over xmas pity:#

Hi

New member here, thinking of attending over new year. Just waiting to see if my van is going to be fixed by then.Called them today to check about vacancies and they said they had plenty, so hopefully will be ok. Won't know anybody but I'm sure will get to by the end of our stay.

Hi Margrae you are more than welcome to join us. funny thing these camp sites ,when we first looked into this back in February they told me to book by June/ July or you wont get in as we get fully booked over this period,makes you think Sales ploy or recession You don't play the pipes do you ? be Great to have our own piper for new years eve.Look forward to meeting you Pete & Jan

I'm afraid can't play bagpipes, used to play tenor horn in my youth in a brass band though !! Will bring whiskey,shortbread, blackbun and lump of coal for first footing. Hopefully the van will make it.

Only 20 days to go, spoke to Wendy at Cashel last week thy will not have any gas so make sure you have plenty shop on site only sells the essentials tea, milk, etc etc. Turkey sorted, Debs and Graham are bringing Beef, Tina and Dee boiling bacon,so we will get some fresh veg when we get to Scotland. Jan and I will be going about the 18th. nearest shops are about 9 miles away so make sure you have every thing you need Oh yes we have a fiamma awning with privacy room so we have some were to have Xmas dinner together any thing else just post or pm Regards Pete & Jan
