Hope this gives you some ideas:

- You are very close to the Tarka Trail if you like walking or cycling
- Head south past North Tawton and you have all of Dartmoor to play round on. Go to South Zeal and then turn left for the closest bit of 'real' moorland.
- Don't bother trying to park a camper van in Exeter. Drive to Morchard Road and get the train to Exeter Central
- Go to the market in Torrington (about 10 miles) for nice local food
- Always ask the barman for the local tipple
- Devonshire Dumpling at Morchard Bishop does good food, but is a few miles drive

anybody been here

Just got back GREAT site centre of Village 3 pubs all do food + good shop +butchers and on bus route well worth trying 10/10
