Had to call the police today

Some of you may remember reading one of my posts where I said I parked not outside where I live but nearby in a cul de sac where I could concentrate on working on me beddy. Well there was just one problem. The old guy (70-80) I parked outside didnt like it, hoe long you going to be he said. Well this saturday I took it for a test drive and took it back to the cul de sac this Sunday. I called the guy I got freindly with who lives next door to grumpy who said when your coming back just ring me and I'll move my car, which I did and he was going off anyway. So I park up and grumpy comes out. What you doing back here? Why dont you park outside your own place? He banged his hand hard on my windscreen. I said dont do that. It's not just me you know I got sons too.... and I know how to use a hammer. By now this other guy appeared who I assumed was one of his 'sons'. Same questions why this why that I thought really it's none of your business why I dont want to park outside my home. Anyway I went straight to the police station and filed a report about him. Now some people will say well how would you feel but really there is a way to express yourself peacefully and if he had done so I would have been more agreeable. Either way I am going to have to move it now anyway because I dont like this s... I dont normally wish ill on someone but in his case I hope he drops dead as soon as soon as possible.

That is so sad, because, as you say, you cannot trust them not to do damage now, regardless of the fact that you reported them.
Were they to do damage it would probably be a lengthy time getting sorted, both repairs and any subsequent court case.
Good luck with finding another spot.
