Sites near Sherborne, Dorset ?

Hi all,

Just looking ahead to find a site to park up for a few days to a week near Sherborne in Dorset in August.

I've found a few possibles but none too close or convenient...

any ideas ?

Camping near Sherborne

Depends on how close you want/need to be, but Milton Farm is a nice quiet site....

During August, I will be down there evenings and weekends, with the Aliens as we rush to finish our float for the carnival season.

Another site which I have used many years ago when we had a trailer tent is Lyons Gate http://www.lyons-gate.co.uk/location.htm That is seven miles south of Sherborne.

thanks phil.. i'll take a look at those.

lyons gate rings a bell... i'm going down to compete in Ironman UK and i suspect that's on the bike course! handy for the wife & spectators!
