Greetings All from Sunny Scunthorpe UK

Hi'my name is Alistair Kennington,ime 42,got 8kids,4 of each,a pitbull n next week a cf landcruiser..resto,i love classic vans,new ones all look the same to me..and since having my shoulder opp ive found myself with loads of time on my hands so with next to no funds ive sorced this cf,some ones pride n joy but house move makes it have to go and i just happend to be lucky enough to get it,its had £500 or so quid thrown at it by its owner and now its coming to me for finishing off,ime on sick bennifit n was looking at getting a tidgy suzuki carry or some thing like that but then found i could get insured cheeper for a classic so great classic it was ,ile be posting ect when i get it next week and asking advise no doubt so thats about it for now peeps ,ile be reading stuff till then bye...

Thanks i will ask for help when i need it cheers,yeh ime looking forward to getting this landcruiser its the second one ive had ,i had one a few hrs when i was power crazed before swoping it for a 3.1 capri great at the time but i always looked back at it wishing ide kept it not swoped it,but here we are all over again,i bid for it on ebay then dint no if it would fit in through the drive ,or wether my mate with the landrover would tow it from hull for me ect so i dint keep bidding,then found out yeh no probs i would have,after it had gone only to be mailed by the owner do you still want it....yep why i said....the winner is from australia he said....after i stoped laughing i asked him how much he said you are welcome to it free,i dont want it scrapping n if you want the fridge/cooker n other stuff ive got to go in it when its done giz 40 quid n its yours so after he threw 500 at it new floor shockers brake pipes brakes cambelt tow bar ect he suddenly found himself moving so its like i was ment to get it....i feel like ime waiting for santa now,and its in real good nick not at all shabby....i cant wait ha ha....so you think my cf is about the cheapest on this forum then ? ile post some pics when i get it mate n hi to your wife from her home town....

living here i never give it a thought....bin runnin round getting a trailer board tday just off to my landrover mates to get the wires made the rite length....then were going this week to fetch the cf......wahay;] Update.were setting of tmrw at three pm to go to hull and tow my cf home,its going to be a slog towing (being towed) over the humber bridge up the a15 n the 180 the 20 or 30 miles home
but still it could have been in devon or somewere ...my mate rekons
that the landcruiser looks like an old ice cream van ha ha just call me mr whippy from now on .....you want a flake in that.
Herd the joke about the ice cream man who killed himself with rassberry sauce,nuts and hundreds and thousands?
Police say he topped himself...
