While meets are very much in focus at the moment, I'll take a quick advantage to remind everyone that the bookings for BG 10 are now being taken. Entry forms have been or are being posted, but you can book in online if you wish. http://www.bedfordgathering.com For postal entries, please remember - just one vehicle per entry form, if you need more then please ask. Do you know others who own Beddies, but not CF's? Pass the word around please. ---------------------- |

Quick update for you - have reached 100 vehicles booked in already. If you haven't booked in yet, do it while it's fresh in your mind. The clubhouse will be open on the Saturday evening again - those who were there last year can tell you how good it was. (Mr BG & myself were too busy to be able to sit and enjoy!) ---------------------- |

A further update. With just under 2 months to go, we have 182 vehicles booked in. If you haven't already booked in, please do, so that we can keep the list up-to-date, and start preparing the welcome packs. We will have the disco on Saturday evening again, as well as the bar. We have been assured that we will not have the problem on the Sunday of access to the wash and toilet area in the clubhouse - this will be open. It does not look, as some feared, as if we will be overrun with traveller's and their J-types. Come along and enjoy the meeting. ---------------------- |

Ladies and Gentlemen (and any others!) We are going to be starting the mail out of Entry Numbers (the yellow sheet that goes in your vehicle window) and Entry Passes (the white one that you hand in to Rally Control when collecting Programme and Rally Plaque)some time this weekend. You should all receive them by the end of the month at the latest. It would help us greatly if everyone who is intent on coming to BG, can book in ASAP. If you are not displaying your entry number on arrival there is a good chance you will end up in the car park! Hi Everyone Just a gentle nudge to remind you that, if you haven't booked in yet, it's only 2 weeks away! If you are attending and haven't booked in, please do so asap, it will ease our burden on the day. If you have booked (except those who have booked in the past week) and haven't yet received paperwork, please let us know. Final despatch of paperwork will take place on Saturday 17th August - anyone booking in after that date will have to collect paperwork from Rally Control on the day. We are having problems with staffing the event at the moment - one member has his mother seriously ill in hospital; my missus, Kim, may not be there; 2 others cannot get until the afternoon; AARRGGHH

Hi solarjohn, its seems as a new member I have become a little confused about the gatherings this year, I have checked and it seems that I have booked for malvern but not Huntingdon, If Im not to late to book for huntingdon, please let me know how I can go about it, I have been on the web site but cant see how much it is or where I have to send it !!, P.s - I will gladly offer my help if you need it, but to be honest, on my performance just to get included Im not sure how much help I would be !! ---------------------- |

Thanks SJ. Wayne, have received your booking. There is no charge to bring your vehicle onto the field. We also don't charge you for camping either. However if you wish, you may make a donation to Macmillan in leiu of pitch fees. Thank you also for your offer of help.
