Is there a buying guide?

We're considering to buy a 76 Bedford (awesome!!)

Does anyone know of there is a buying guide/post that contains information about typical weaknesses to check for when buying a Bedford?

The buying risk.

Hi Niels,

Buying an old Bedford CF of that age you should be looking for weakness of chassis, cab flooring, and inner wings including the door steps.
Mechanically the gearbox should but carefully checked for noise clean changing and not jumping out of gear.
The engine starting and time taken for the oil pressure to reach maximum, do not rev the engine until the oil light has gone out, always take it for a good drive to reach maximum temp.
