Running wires into doors?

How have people approached putting power into the doors?

New holes and some rubber sleeves like modern vehicles?

Want to get central locking installed rather than repair a broken fork on the handle.

Until the central locking comes out on `Bluetooth`, I`m afraid that drilling holes and running wires is your only recourse. Get something off a modern scrapper. Will save you cable and rubber reinforcement.
