ignition barrel removal

Hi Guy's. can anyone tell me how to remove my ignition barrel on my 84 c f 2 diesel.

there should be a small pin at the side
turn the key slowly whilst pressing the pin in
at a stage the pin will go in further and you will be able to withdraw the barrel

I put a few searches last week, without any luck, managed to locate one with Adrian, £138.00 though, but had to have one.
