Hello Waggs91... If you go to the homepage for this site and click on the CF Brief History section and then at the lower part of that page click on the link to the sales brochures there is a picture of the 1976 yellow offering. I think it was imaginatively called bright yellow. It was a common colour on UK roads as all the telephone company Bedford vans were yellow as it was considered a safety colour. Its pretty shouty when its polished. Regards Andy | Sun 26 Nov 2017 @ 10:00

The paint codes are: 1RD - Cargo orange 3GB - Signal green 4BL - Cargo blue 4YW - Cargo yellow 5WH - Cargo white 5YB - Signal yellow 6GN - Cargo green 7GN - Cargo chartreaux 7YB - Bedford beige 8RD - Bright red 9RD - Cargo red 9XB - Cargo grey This will tell you what the original colours were called ,not particularly helpful in finding a substitute though. As Andy says, take a look at the brochures then pop along to your local diy shop & see what colours they have. Also worth checking out http://www.buga.com.au/ | Sun 26 Nov 2017 @ 11:11
