I'm with Doug on this. Buy a good quality oil stone and you'll get a good edge and the stone will last forever. ---------------------- |

I always used a diamond plate from Axminster Power tools to sharpen my blades, and made a wooden fixture to hold the blade at the right angle. |

Or you could drive 7 miles into Bangor & buy a set of two from Toolstation!
