Advice please

We have a 1986 Bedford cf horsebox with 60,000 miles on the clock. Thinking of fixing it up and trying to sell to a collector rather than the horse market. Would there be much interest for a horse lorry or are we better selling it as a horse lorry still?

Horse box.

Hi Nickbosson,

Collectors in Bedford clubs would interested in your motor as it is, or as a project for conversion if it has a separate chassis and the horse box can be taken off or converted into a campervan or pickup truck/lorry.
I am thinking it would be a 280 but you don't say if it is petrol or diesel, the state of the cab metal work in these older Bedford's is an important factor in how saleable they are, some picture's of the motor would help.
