Oil pump pressure.

Hi Jim,

After striping and measuring all the tolerances within the pump I think the main problem has been the oil seals because the seals I have put between the pump body and the block have greatly improved the speed and the pressure of oil in the crank-case, putting out the oil light much sooner than before.

Pump seals.

Hi Jim,

It will last as long as the seals stay in one piece, and since they are fixed seals with no movement and only two damage factors are heat and oil so I would think quite a few thousand miles.
When you come to think about it the seals that I have replace have done over a hundred thousand miles.
