Landcruiser.

Hi to all,

Getting a visit from the Land-cruiser man tomorrow to update me on progress made in arrangements to ship his Bedford over to Scotland and look through photo's of the parts and pieces that he should or should not bring with it.
But no real work can be done until the motor is here but the price of shipping I would think would be quite costly.

Moving forward.

Hi to all,

If this Land-cruiser project is to move forward the sooner the Bedford gets here the better if it is to be on the road and in use for the coming summer,
The pictures should help me to see what parts are there that can be of use and give me some idea of what parts we are going to have to find.

Meet up.

Hi to all,

Had a meet up with Jason and look through some pictures of his land-cruiser pride and joy and quite a lot of bodywork has been done plus it has a gearbox and a prop-shaft, from a mechanical point of view that is all it has, no engine or any engine parts.
So quite a lot of parts to try and find so the missing parts hunt is on for an oil pump, by-pass pipe, inlet-manifold, an oil switch and a temp-sender, the carb I think he will have to buy new.
The rest I have managed to find from my collection of spares, the Bedford should getting shipped over from Ireland in early December and only then will I really find out what I have to work with.

Landcruiser man!

Edward the Bedford is in Scotland :)

Plus today I picked up about 40 spare parts from a stripped down bedford so we should have enough to get going. Can't wait.

Great news.

Hi Jason,

I was beginning to think Edward had sank in the Irish sea so it is good to hear he has made it on to dry land, maybe now we can get things moving and make a start to putting some fire in his belly.
