Head gasket 2.0 Hi,I am looking for a head gasket set for my Bedford CF2. It is a 1986 model, 250P. Does anyone know the best place to source one? Not sure if this is correct: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-OPEL-2-0L-SOHC-8V-HEAD-GASKET-SET-with-BOLTS-DP-820BE-/200860584694 Thanks ---------------------- | Wed 02 Sep 2015 @ 20:40 |

A head job. Hi stuvaux,You should be able to get one on-line easily enough it was a common engine in Cavalier and Manta models, but if you have not had one of these heads off before be very careful of the oil feed pipe coming up from the oil way in the block to feed the cam-shaft. On refitting the head it is easy to damage this oil feed pipe, once refitted check to make sure the camshaft is getting an oil supply. doujoy ---------------------- | Thu 03 Sep 2015 @ 08:47 |

Thanks for the advice, I will certainly bear that in mind! I was also worried about possibly breaking the manifold bolts.... The gasket direct link doesn't seem to be working for me either | Thu 03 Sep 2015 @ 15:36 |

Hi stuvaux, Vauxhall manifold bolts have always been prone to breaking but more so at the down pipe manifold to exhaust joint, plenty of WD40 before you start and a bit more once they start to move. doujoy ---------------------- | Thu 03 Sep 2015 @ 15:47 |

You could try this place - http://www.jmgaskets-seals.co.uk/category.asp?c=650 Complete head set £15.76 I assume there's P&P on top of that. ---------------------- | Thu 03 Sep 2015 @ 16:37 |

Complete head set £15.76 I assume there's P&P on top of that. Thanks, they look good. I'm assuming new bolts are needed too? (I know they usually are) Thanks | Thu 03 Sep 2015 @ 20:45 |
