Whoops. I tried 2 meassages earlier but neither worked. Hey, I'm mark. I was reading a message about fiber glassing my roof gutters as they at rusted and leaking and I wondered would I just use fiber cloth and resin and could I do it all the way around? Also my gauges don't work right, fuel always full (earthing problem?) And temp gauge doesn't move even after 150 miles. Any help would be great fully received. Thanks guys! | Sun 29 Mar 2015 @ 19:53 |

Hi Mark, welcome to the forum. Can't see a problem with what you're proposing re fibre glassing.Gauge problems could have quite a few causes. As you say, earthing problem would be first guess.Could also be senders not working correctly. It's going to be a case of tracing from start to finish unfortunately. ---------------------- | Sun 29 Mar 2015 @ 20:27 |

What CF do you have ? Is it a CF(up to 1980 with metal grill), CF Facelift(1980 to 84) or CF2(84 on) ? Have you tried taking the wire off the temp sender and touching it to earth? Does the gauge move then? ---------------------- | Mon 30 Mar 2015 @ 09:33 |

fiber glass Hi Mark,I fiber glassed nearly all of my guttering.the first thing to do is.I hope this helps.Cheers+Beers,Jim.clean it then you will need to weld as much of the roof to the guttering as possible, this is for strength. You can buy a 2" tap that fits just right for the fiberglassing.I hope this helps,Cheers+Beers, Jim.---------------------- | Mon 30 Mar 2015 @ 20:14 |
