My new toy

Hi All,
I've just registered on here and thought I show you my new acquisition. Pretty much a Christmas present to me and my wife.
It's a 1980 Bedford CF250 Advantura motorhome.
All original and not messed with. I'm just sorting out a few things as it does need a bit of TLC, but nothing major.
We've got a trip to the 24hrs of Le Mans and then Germany planned in June so really looking forward to it now.
Next autumn the cab will get a respray to tidy it up again complete with the original decals.
Hope you like it.
Cheers Frank

Hi Frank and welcome to CF-UK. That's a nice looking CF you have there. Nice and tidy inside. I think you may have problems keeping up with the cars at LeMans though

Thanks Guy
The bonnet is actually fibreglass. Not sure what manufacturer.
Apparently good steel versions are like rocking horse s**t, so the chap I bought it off told me. He's got another 2 CF's, a 72 Landcruiser (Dormobile Conversion I think) and a pick up.
I got it from near Plymouth, and drove it back with a full tank.
Not sure what the capacity is, but it used just under half a tank on 150miles done so far. And I did 55 - 60mph all the way.
Was quite suprised how good the engine is even up the step hills like Honiton.
