heart transplant

I was wondering if there is an easy exchange engine and gearbox for my van?
I'm not looking for high speed racing I just want a proper 5 speed box and a bit more power so motorway cruising is nicer and cheaper!
I was thinking Carlton/ manta 2.0 CIH with injection?

Any thoughts?

if your going down this route then why not look at the more modern engine/gearbox
RWD combo.

theres a few to pick from .
ford transit TDCI , nissan ,merc , bmw, just to name a few .
it will mean getting a running donner so you can transplant all the electrics over or even use a stand alone electrical kit though
