Check in the small print. I'm pretty sure there are size and weight limits - on the vehicle not you ---------------------- | Sat 21 Jun 2014 @ 20:50 |

RAC will only recover you if its under 3t anything over they will charge you a massive excess, this can be costly if your away from home though | Sun 22 Jun 2014 @ 13:58 |

CF340/350 are over 3tons as standard. most coach built are nearer to 4tonnes though thats with out water/gas and whatever you take with you on your jollies. even a CF280 converted to a camper will be touching 3.5tones partly loaded........ | Mon 23 Jun 2014 @ 22:09 |

I'm a bit confused about the weight issue. There is a brochure on this website that gives the weight of some of the C.I. models: http://www.bedford-cf.co.uk/br/br51.htm None of the others manufacturers seem to list the weight but this one clearly shows: Brigand (Poptop)29Cwt. Autohome (Coachbuilt) 32Cwt. Bedouin (Coachbuilt) 34Cwt. This is presumably the Unladen weight of the complete vehicle rather than just the chassis that it's built on? . . . . . or is it ? ? ? ? ? RAC Hi.on our way back from Malbrough last Frieday, the brakes failed.117 miles from home.I called the RAC.They arrived in 50 mins but we could not fix the brakes so the van and trailer where Brought home.Having a brake down servise really helps who ever you are with.Cheers+Beers,Jim.---------------------- | Wed 16 Jul 2014 @ 21:39 |
