alternator hi, just fitted a new alternator a 75amp unit. works perfectly. with my headlamps on the red light comes on. so I checked my battery charge which was 14.5 amps. when my spots and fog lights are on the same. so I know the battery is being charged. but why then is the light showing that it isn't. | Mon 02 Jun 2014 @ 09:49 |

Check for poor connections or a poor earth. The alternator may be charging correctly but if you have a build up of resistance somewhere it may put the charge light on. ---------------------- | Mon 02 Jun 2014 @ 14:55 |
