hello

Hi all, just a quick line as ive just joined the club.

Always been a fan of the CF, ever since we had a '75 autosleeper poptop when i was a kid.
great van, for some reason a previous owner had taken out the 2.3 and slotted in a 1.8 from a victor,it went ok from what i can remember and managed porlock hill without too much trouble and 90 on the speedo once im sure!!
when i got older i used to do some of the maintenance on it,and working on it lying down inside the cab was certainly something different from anything id done previously.
unfortunatley the van wasnt used as much as it should have been, and the clutch became virtually welded on, and inevetably the rust started to get worse, strangly around the nearside rear corner where it met the roof, yet the underside was solid.
HYD 55N where are you now?
Fast forward 20 odd years and my intrest in bedfords is still keen, (CA'S as well as CF'S) and im finding that id like to get a poptop to do some travelling about in, both daytrips and longer camping holidays hopefully.

maybe ill manage to get one for the summer, fingers crossed

happy bedford-ing all.
