GM 2.3 diesel into 1977 petrol CF1

Hi does anyone know if the GM 2.3 diesel will fit straight into a 1977 petrol CF1 that has the 2.3 slant 4.

As far as I know the engine mounts are different.If you have a donor vehicle it's easier to take the front axle as well.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!

as its been said the mounts are different and also the gearbox .
