Remove Barrel from steering lock Has anyone any idea how to remove and replace the key barrel from a Bedford CF1 steering lock?---------------------- |

I did do it many moons ago but,can't remember the details. Have a look here,there might be something similar that would give you an idea how to proceed. ---------------------- |

thanks, I have had a look but have not found the right model on there. Have decided to fit an ignition switch on the dash as I cannot find another lock anywhere. ---------------------- |

Thanks Dave, My lock is similar to yours but shows no place where there could be a locking pin to drill out, my old lock is different again as the barrel is locked in with a screw by going in where the bolts fit for holding it on the column. ---------------------- |

success! Found a small pin and drilled it out, out popped the barrel and a small grub screw in place of the pin means that it easy to remove again. Thanks for advice from members. ---------------------- |
