engine removed hi got a engine for my bedford like to know is it hard to remove and dose the panal to be removed for the engine thanks---------------------- |

It really depends on your working space & available tools.You could do either.

When I had my engine replaced,the front panel was cut away to remove the engine.I replaced the panel with nuts,bolts & filler.

If you have a pre-facelift CF1, the van can be lifted off the front cross member / engine with an engine crane and supported on heavy duty axle stands - did my engine conversion this time last year and it worked a treat - just wheel the enigne out on the road wheels using a trolley jack to steady it.
