handbrake adjustment

Evening all. I've misplaced my haynes and need to adjust my early type handbrake (single cable going to a yolk, then two wires joined by a small bracket running over the yolk going to each wheel. Can't find anywhere to adjust the slack in the system....

Make sure that you adjust the rear brake shoes first though or the pedal travel will be long...

thanks chaps, did see that thread but couldn't see any way of putting a spanner on the bit you turn to adjust, so ruled it out. Lovely access when you've got a water tank in the way as well... I guess if it's tight to turn just use mole grips on the sleeve.

OK, did it. Couldn't undo the lock nut due to access between the fuel tank and the prop shaft, so pulled the pin out of the joint from the handbrake lever, and pulled the cable back through the body holes to allow it to dangle down. That meant I could get pliers and a spanner on the adjuster/lock nut and crack it off. Then greased it up to allow it all to turn easily before reassembling and then adjusting by hand. All good, thanks.
