Disconnect it in the summer.Reconnect it in the winter!
Or you could look to see whether the cable is still connected to the valve & if it opens/closes.If not probably needs a new valve.I did see one on greedbay recently,I'll see if it's still there. It's not the one I'd seen but there's this one.151047943662 ---------------------- |

on the 81 Beddy you could have the later heater fitted . the 1 with a capillary tube wound around the face of the heater matrix. theses can cause trouble if the tube fails . 1 way to stop the heater blowing hot air is to bypass the heater matrix just for summer though |
