Does anyone know if this unit will fit a '74 CF?

As the tank has a six hole unit

would it not be better to get this one?

Admittedly there's no gauge with this one & not sure if the resistance is right for the cf gauge.

the resistance of the float ranges between 0 ohms and 30 ohms

Ah,probably no good then.
"This sensor is calibrated to provide an electrical resistance of 260 Ohms at empty and 20 Ohms at full."
