Hi Rae, dont even attempt to bring the Barbie indoors!. There was a young girl died in wales earlier this year, when they had taken the used barbie into their tent for some extra heat. Not a good Idea. regards Davie. | Tue 18 Dec 2012 @ 22:06 |

rich4you wrote: one canister last about 45 Min's Hello Richard, We found that to be the same but if the van was really cold we had to shake the fire with the canister inside it to get some more life out of it Rae & Ann | Wed 19 Dec 2012 @ 20:25 |

leatherwalnut wrote: What type of suspension do you have? Hello Martin, Well actually I have air suspension, unfortunately, they're upstairs in a box which isn't much use but it's on my list of things to do....soon. Honestly. As for the bed in the van I still have the original 70's foam and still working really well; they've been recovered and I always take them out the van when we're not using it. Hi Rae, Be careful of old foam, some of it gives off nasty fumes in old age. I've just replaced all of my 1985 Clubman's foam with new. All the new stuff is fireproof and won't obviously give off nasties. The recipe these days has changed. The old stuff is now so old that it can break down and become dusty and very much a health hazard. Martin | Wed 19 Dec 2012 @ 22:37 |

Hello Martin, Have to agree with you on this one, we did contemplate using memory foam cover to enhance the original stuff but I think it's only a matter of time but, at the moment, I'm thinking about changing the van's internals round. If this comes to fruition the bed will become fixed and so there will be no need for cushions to be converted into mattresses but, hey ho, just another job on the list. leatherwalnut wrote: A fixed bed in a Beddy? Do you intend spending all day in bed? Hello Martin, I don't know if you've ever seen our van. We have a fixed table and chairs at the rear end, when we travel the bed is normally made up. As we never carry passengers we don't feel the need for seats, as such, in the van. A fixed bed would probably give us more room as it would be a lot higher and I could use the space between the two seats as cupboard room. Rae & Ann | Wed 19 Dec 2012 @ 22:59 |

Hi Rae, No, I've never seen your van other than the fixed bed ( Hmmmmmm), So with that in mind, I can see why you don't carry passengers!!!! Where do you watch tely or do you have other things to occupy your evenings??? Martin | Wed 19 Dec 2012 @ 23:09 |

Hello Martin, Some time over the weekend I will try and download a few photographs of the van. As for television, we haven't watched television for years. Personally we find no need for it: come to think of it, I've not bought a newspaper in nearly thirty years. Certainly if my chips are wrapped up in one I'll have a read: it's a bl00dy shame about that Titanic. I will admit to watching DVDs and that's what we do when we're in the van but, at home, I have more than enough hobbies to keep me occupied. Rae & Ann | Thu 20 Dec 2012 @ 00:09 |
