Hi RIKKI,It's not that difficult to fit an LPG system I did the first conversion on my VW bay window with twin carbs and the 2nd was my brothers Isuzi Trooper, my Beddy was converted by Pioneer Gas. Its alright converting it yourself if you know the regulations only problem can be getting a certificate some companies wont check it for you and the ones that will can charge you what they want.

Hi Rikki, The tank being half full wont cause any problems apart from the extra weight, what type of tank is it cylinder or do-nut?, if its cylinder the tank has to be posisioned so the valve is at 1 oclock if its do-nut it mounts level. All gas pipes should run at least 4" from the exhaust and be well secured, any more advise please let me know.

Hi Rikki,Its not a very big tank to use on a cf you could do with something like 100 ltr because you need 20% air space so on a 30ltr tank you will only get about 24 ltrs in, my CF350 only does 13.5 MPG on LPG.
