stering wheels

hi peeps would a mk3 transit steering wheel fit a mk2 transit ?

up too mk5 have same splines,this is acccording to a mate who has run transits,
hope this helps.Found this also on a mk2 forum--so he might be right--

"Welcome mate! You can go up to a Mk5 steering wheel, the spline is the same, but obviously if it's got an airbag you won't get that to work! If you go bigger it helps with the steering, there is an A series wheel that's big, but they are like rocking horse droppings! Also, if you find an amby in the breaker's, they have a big steering wheel, they are 3 spoke right up to the last Mk2."
