Fan belt how to...

Hi peeps,

I know this is really basic but I can't find the haynes manual!
I'm now by the side of the road with a broken fan/alternator belt.

Have a spare, how do I get it over the fan pulley coupling?

Tempted to limp the last 10 miles on batt only...

I swapped mine the other week. You've just got to feed it over the fan itself and you're sorted.

So I had a suspicion the belt i'd brought wasn't quite the right size.... i think its 888mm... and could only just get it on & functioning with tha alternator adjustment at it's smalled position.

hopefully it'll get us home on sunday but could someone remind the right length / part in case i get a chance to go hunting tomorrow ?
