motorhome insurance?
My last post, as need registering, but my pot is running out 
Having just finished my conversion, and jobs done, mot awaits on wednesday, fingers crossed.
Anyway, can anybody point me towards good cheap motorhome insurance. The bus is going to be mot'ed as a motorhome, from a minibus, and cant seem to find and one to insure it?
A reccomedation would be lovely to get the ol beddy on the road.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Carole Nash or Adrian Flux are specialist brokers that should be able to get you a reasonable quote (google them). If you can prove you're a member of an owners club you'll get a discount.

Another vote for RH here. They insure my Bedouin for £108 and my Trailblaze for £96 or there abouts. Not camper cover, just classic car, but comes with full EU breakdown as standard.

I used ti use Footman James until last year then I changed to Peter James it was £136 fully comp agreed value of £4500 and uk & europian breakdown.

i remember having a long arguement with 'some kid' in a telesales room of an insurance broker.
i told him that my Bedford was a 'flatbed Recovery Truck' so he says 'its a motorhome' 'no its a recovery truck' 'no it is not its a motorhome,you even told me it has a bed in it!'
No mater what i did i could not explain to him what a flatbed recovery truck was, he kept insisting that i told him that it had a bed so it must be a motorhome,depite my determination to get through to him he wouldn't budge so i gave up and put the phone down.

I have never had to have an insprction if you phone them up and ask for a quote tell them you want agreed value of the amount you want, pay by card over the phone and they will send you your insurance. They will send you a form to fill in and you have to send that back to them with 3 or 5 recent photographs then they send the ammended insurance to you. hope this helps Peter James (01215066040).
