Ignition controlled supply

I'm needing a supply for overdrive, electric fuel pump, 12v coil, and Lumenition. Looking at the back of the fuse box, there seems to be lots of "blanks" ie:

Is it as simple as using one of these (probably fuse 3) and will I be alright running all 4 items off the one terminal ?

Thanks

Fuses 3, 4, 5 & 6 all are fed from the ignition switch.

Wiring diagrams - see Howto Section contents; later diagrams still in progress but 12-way fusebox versions 1974-80 all wired much the same. (To enlarge a diagram, right click to View first.)

Another option is to run a new supply to a relay in the engine bay which is switched off the original fusebox. I took a good 40A cable off the starter relay, but you could go straight from the battery. You can then have an auxiliary fuse box handy for things like fans and electronic ignition without worrying about overloading the original wiring:-

thanks, sounds interesting. So what spec of relay would I need. Also, I take it there's no problem running all these things from the one output of the relay ?

thanks

Just a simple 40A 12V relay. single pole. Of course, you have to be sure you don't pull more than 40A through it for long, but with what you mentioned you should be fine. I have one spare fuse slot available formy air horns now

incidentally, I use mine for accuspark ignition, fuel pump, and twin cooling fans (the temp controller is visible in the photo.
