v8 transplant Hi all, thinking about putting a 1987 rangerover 3.5 efi engine and manual box in a 1972 cf1. any advice, thoughts, or condemnation welcome. Thanks---------------------- |

Fitting a V8 has been done many times to the Beddy Fitting a manual will be a problem as there is no space for the clutch pedal due to removing part of the floor and bulkhead to accommodate the V8 engine. You will also need to change the rear diff or you wont get much above 65mph Brake upgrade to discs will be advisable if you want to stop as well..... ---------------------- |
