Choke Cable

Does anybody know the length of the choke cable for a bedford cf fitted with thw weber carb.....I know that I could take it out and measure it but, the end of the cables is frayed, and if i remove it i will not be able to re-insert into the outer cable. My current one frayed and my local idiot mechanic cut it and re-connected it to the carb, and I am now running on partial choke all the time and watching the petrol gauge go down just starting the engine and trying to run on idle.......Many Thanks....Beardyface

Different lengths for CF1, Facelift & CF2 ...

If the inner cable is only an inch or so short then the outer cable can be trimmed down using a Dremel clone & disc cutting wheel.

Sort inner cable by soldering strands together before grinding end off square.

An alternative is a solid (single) strand inner cable.
