Bedford cf camper brake piped

Hello there I've got a Bedford cf camper 1975. Which just failed the MOT but nothing to drastic.
Needs new brake pedal rubber not sure best Place for this,any ideas?
And 2 brake pipes corroded that need replacing. Got quoted £125 to do the work,not sure if this is good or not? Any ideas the cost of 2 brake pipes? And the how easy to change?

I have a couple of pairs of new brake clutch pedal rubbers for sale

You can swap the clutch pedal rubber over onto the brake pedal to pass the MOT.

As for the brake pipes then depending on which 2 have corroded its a fair price.

Changing brake pipes is a strait forward job unless the unions have seized.

First of all you need to make up new pipes with the correct imperial ends fitted, also the correct end profile...............

Once you have the pipes replaced you need to bleed the full brake system of air.


Its not a bad job to do but if you aint done anything like this before then £125 dose not sound to bad .....
