BODYKIT INFO

Hey all, just wondering if anyone could spread some light on a couple of things for me, im very into classic vechicles but mainly vans!!! Im from the vw scene but have always wanted a cf because of being heavely intrested in the custom/vanning scene, i find a vw bus dosn't quite offer the same look an feel that is needed!!! Plus from lookin around i have found some great cf customs!!! prob better then some of the yank vans out there!!! Anyways what im wanting to know is where can or can i, find after market wheels(wide mag/chrome styles for these vans an the same for the body kits? I remember in some old street machine mags seeing places you could buy wide arches, an front valances/skirts an the big tinted side windows an captins chairs? to fit on? Do any of these still exsist? Also from what iv read, I take it if i was to end up with a cf2 i could still fit a cf1 grill an wings to make it look older?
Hope this makes sense an look forward to hearing from you, regards mat(guernsey c.i)

P.s i will be looking for a van so if any thing comes up, please lets us know, cf1 or cf2, but after panelvan, would prefer one with a side door on it! but anything thats drivable consider! Thanks

Keep your eyes open and see what comes up.....

There are sometime cf wheels for sale on ebay too, you also can have wheels altered to fit.

A quick search, more than I expected to be honest.

its worth mentioning that not all cf hubs are the same, I think the early ones are smaller centre bore with narrower studs and the pcd if different also,

I found this out when I got my wheels and they didn't fit of my van which is a lwb CF2 which has different hubs.

cheers!

I dont know much about the early uk van scene, but it seems every now and again legends pop up looking like they need a good home.

both of those have good potential, it depends on your needs. The blue one is pimp for sure but 10-15 mpg is off putting to me and no rear doors..? its that classic payoff between pure aesthetics and functionality.

Its up to you.

On the bodykits, its another case of hens teeth, DIY is your best option or just live with massive offset poke (seems to be cool among the current us vanners but) not so great when your driving on ty muddy roads or freshly laid tarmac)

There are only 2 PCD on the whole of the Beddy range
5 x 152.4 with a CB of 110
6 x 170 with a CB of 140

Early Beddys where 13" wheels and the very soon after became 14"
There is 2 different studs
7/16th and 18mm
3 different nuts

7/16th tapered. Normal Beddy with steel wheels
7/16th with flat washer.Heavy duty flat wheels found on Amby's and few CF280's
18mm with flat washer. Found on twin wheeled Beddys.

Weller wheels used tapered nuts in either stainless steel or chromed ones.
Wolf-race wheels had Sleeved nuts and washers

99% of these wheels where available in 14" and various width.Very few 15" where made to special order.

There are a few different Wolf-race wheels made but its hard to tell the difference unless you have them side by side...........

Nearest wheels that will fit are off the
Aston Martin Vantage 5 x 154.95
Aston Martin Volante 5 x 154.95
Rolls Royce kiti modeliai iki 1997 m. 5 x 154.95.

These only need a slight enlargement of the stud holes ...
